Me, I've had an interesting couple of months. I've tried harddd to send or even write a letter and have failed every single time. Here's why:
In the past few months, I've been pretty overwhelmed by how underwhelming life immediately after graduation is. That probably doesn't make sense...but I can explain.
If anyone knows me, they know that I am not every good at waiting. Just waiting. And whenever I need to wait at all, I try to fill up that waiting time by doing other things.
These past months have basically been filled with lots of unproductive waiting. Waiting for my project supervisor…waiting to leave school… waiting to get home....waiting to be able to make plans…waiting to be able to start working on my plans…and on all those days that I wake up and my brain is unable to immediately supply me with my (productive) plans for the day…it feels like I'm wasting away the precious time that Allah has given me. And I just could not find the audacity to show up here again.
Why am I here now?
Ramadhan has been really nourishing, alhamduliLlah. I'm temporarily out of my waiting stage. I'm just existing and enjoying the Ramadhan-ness of Ramadhan, a blessing I absolutely do not take for granted.
So I just wanted to check in…and to say;

How is your Ramadhan going?
It feels almost surreal that we're halfway through the month. Like play like play, e don dey go.
May Allah ease ‘ibaadaat for us in what is left of the month and may He accept our worship and answer our prayers. May Allah grant us the ability to do the most good deeds and may He grant us the full rewards for all our good deeds and acts of worship. May Allah grant us ease in all of our affairs and may He make this month a month of healing and reconnection for us.
May Allah answer our prayers and grant us our heart desires. May Ramadhan leave us better than it has met us. Aameen.
Ẹyin fans mi, don't forget to Du'a everything o. Everything.
Your Rabb is Al-Azeez Al-Adheem, The Mighty and Strong and you are the weakest of weak.
Your Rabb is Al-Qaadir, Al-Qadeer, The Most Able, The Capable and you are the most dependent of dependents.
Your Rabb is Al-Ghaniyy, Al-Mughnee, The Wealthy and Self Sufficient and you are the poorest of the poor.
He is Al-Haafidh, Al-Hafeedh, The only Protector and you are a slave in need of His protection.
He is Al-Kareem, The Bountiful and Generous and you are in need of all the goodness He has in His bounties.
He is Al-Qareeb Al-Mujeeb, The Near One Who Answers. And you should ask Him for all that you want because your Rabb is Ash-Shakoor, The Grateful One Who loves that His slave asks Him.
So ask!
وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ فَٱدْعُوهُ بِهَاۖ
And to Allāh belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. [Al-A'raf 7:180]
